Saturday Snapshot - Bunny - A little late for Easter

We've lived here for two years and this is one of the first rabbits we've seen in the area. Apparently all of the neighbours knew they were around, but not us. We saw two others earlier in the day. And you know when you see two rabbits in the same general area...well, let's just say it won't be long before we see many more. ;)

Anyway, this guy came really close to us when we were sitting and watching the river rise in our backyard. He's a cutie.

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books. To participate – post a picture that you've taken (or one taken by a friend, or a family member) then add your link on Alyce’s site using Mr. Linky.

  6. Thanks everyone! The fact that he camouflages so well with his surroundings is probably the reason we haven't seen him (them) until now.

    I'm usually pretty good at seeing animals/birds in our yard, even well hidden ones. I wonder who else escaped my detection.

    I was actually praying for a storm this weekend. We had a little bit of rain on friday but I would have loved to cuddle up with a book with lightning and rain going on outside my window =]

    && i LOVE rabbits! I had 2 as a kid!

  9. Rabbits are cute and I love watching them! I just wish they wouldn't eat my perennials that are just coming up. They are using my backyard as their personal salad bars!

  10. We have a lot of bunnies in our neighborhood. I love watching them sit statue-still when they sense us watching them. Nice you had some quite time to sit and watch the river run.

Thanks so much for your comment. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, I've been getting lots of spam comments, so I'm turning on word verification to help keep spammers away. I know it's a pain; I don't like it either. Hopefully, in time I'll be able to turn it off again. Thank you!
